Intensität, sonstiges The DAI currently offers approx. 180 places for children between one and six years of age at three different locations. In Heidelberg-Neuenheim at Kuno-Fischer-Straße 2 and Gutenbergstraße 7 as well as in Heidelberg’s Old Town at Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 28, children from more than 20 different countries are cared for from Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 15:00/17:00. The common language is English, which the German-speaking children learn through play in interaction with their peers and the English-speaking educators. A small group size – twelve children with two caregivers – allows for optimal encouragement of early childhood curiosity. A balanced mix of free play and structured phases, pre-school lessons and an international environment in which the children are prepared for life in a globalised world are particularly close to our hearts.
